John 15:1-2 & 8 says, “I am the true vine and my Father is the gardener. He takes away every branch that does not bear fruit in me. He prunes every branch that bears fruit so that it will bear more fruit. My Father is honored by this, that you bear much fruit and show that you are my disciples."In the garden world, sometimes you have to cut away something beautiful, along with the dead leaves or branches, in order to get more growth and more beauty. For something to become "fruitful" it must be "pruned". May we be a people that are a soft place to land for others, and a reflection of Christ because we have been pruned to show the fruit of his work in us!
